Welsh Language Co-ordinator

Hawys has a BA in French and German from the University of Southampton. She has previously worked as a Translation Project Manager, where she worked with medical-pharmaceutical translations, including the translation of research ethics committee correspondence and clinical trial documentation.

More recently she has worked as a Subtitler, where she provided English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, as well as English subtitles for both live and pre-recorded Welsh language television programmes such as the news and live Welsh sporting events. Hawys is the Welsh Language Coordinator for CEDAR, working closely with the Welsh Value in Health National Programme.
