Cedar has rebranded and is now CEDAR (Centre for Healthcare Evaluation, Device Assessment and Research)
Led by Mike Beddard (Senior Researcher), CEDAR has produced a narrative review on the topic of Patient level PROMs visualisation. This important and informative report is another output from the ongoing collaboration between Cedar (Cardiff & Vale UHB) and the Welsh Value in Health Centre.
The PROVISION study is the first in a programme of research funded by the WVHC to develop evidence and tools to improve how PROM data are used in direct patient care. Cedar and the Welsh Value in Health Centre are collaborating on a qualitative research study to undertake focus groups with patients in three clinical specialities. The study is led by Dr Laura Knight, Senior Researcher at Cedar, and is now open to recruitment.
Congratulations to the Rehab Model team in Cardiff & Vale UHB for winning the Value Based Care award in the Advancing Healthcare Awards UK 2023. Cedar is proud to support the evaluation of this groundbreaking work.
Cedar's Deputy Director Kathleen Withers has recently published a book chapter 'QOL and PROMs in Catheter Ablation of Cardiac Arrhythmia' in the book 'Patient Reported Outcomes and Quality of Life in Cardiovascular Interventions'.
