Senior Researcher (Qualitative)

Laura has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology (Cardiff University) and a PhD in Neuroscience and Mental Health (Cardiff University). Laura’s PhD focused on the oscillatory, neurochemical and behavioural evidence for impaired GABAergic inhibition in schizophrenia at CUBRIC, Cardiff University. Whilst undertaking postgraduate work at Cardiff University, Laura worked on the multicentre STRATA project aimed at developing a stratified medicine approach to treating schizophrenia as well as developing a dynamic causal model designed to predict and model behavioural data using brain oscillatory and neurochemical data in both psychiatric and healthy populations.
