Iceberg

Gwent Regional Partnership Board asked Cedar to independently evaluate the impact of their Iceberg” Transformation Programme, which is aligning the work of schools, local authorities, health services, and charitable organisations. The Programme aims to redesign the delivery of services for children, young people, and their families, where there are concerns about emotional wellbeing or mental health.

CEDAR's role

CEDAR's evaluation focuses on the impact of new ways of working on service users, the health and care workforce, and on organisational culture. We collected and analysed quantitative data from surveys and performance measures in parallel with qualitative data obtained through focus groups, interviews, and observational field notes. We also considered the financial sustainability of the initiative.
