We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly team.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Translation Co-ordinator intended to support CEDAR’s work with the Welsh Value in Health Centre. This programme of work extends across Wales and the Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring that resources are available bilingually. The post holder will support this by providing translation services to the CEDAR team and wider Welsh Value in Health Centre, and will occasionally work directly with patients to support aspects of the programme. As an all Wales programme, this post is suitable to remote working, and flexible working including part time posts or job share would be considered.

You will have excellent language skills (Welsh and English), and have a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience in Welsh language translation. An ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy is essential. CEDAR, part of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board with links to Cardiff University, is conveniently located at Cardiff Medicentre at the University Hospital of Wales with good cycle/changing facilities and car parking. We are looking for someone who shares our values of trust, respect, personal responsibility, kindness and integrity and we welcome applications equally in Welsh or in English. The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
