Higher Specialist Scientist Training programme (HSST) trainee

Michal has a BSc in Biological Sciences with honours in Neuroscience (The University of Edinburgh) and a dually accredited PhD in Medical Sciences (University of Aberdeen & Tongji University), for which he conducted research in cellular neuroscience. During his BSc(Hons) and PhD studies he has volunteered extensively in pre-hospital care. Michal holds an MA in Bioethics and Medical Law (St Mary’s University, Twickenham) and has peer-reviewed for bioethics journals. He completed the NHS Scientist Training Programme, including an MSc in Clinical Science (Critical Care Science) from Manchester Metropolitan University, and is a HCPC registered Clinical Scientist (Clinical Physiology). Michal is currently a trainee on the HSST Clinical Bioinformatics (Health Informatics) programme, undertaking his DClinSci component at the University of Manchester.
